ROBERTA HAMILTON-GRIGGS (Director) has been performing in and directing musicals, plays, commercials, and operas since she was a child in her backyard, telling her older sisters where to move and how to sing. Some of her favorite productions include directing SEUSSICAL, the MUSICAL, and singing Viola in the opera, TWELFTH NIGHT directed and composed by David Amram. She is thrilled to be directing A CHRISTMAS CAROL for The Wesley Players as she has made so many fond memories performing in and directing shows such as SOUND OF MUSIC, AMAHL and the NIGHT VISITORS, JOSEPH and the AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, LITTLE WOMEN, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and THE MUSIC MAN.

KELLY KATES (Choreographer) is thrilled to be joining Roberta and the Wesley Players for this wonderful production.  During the day, Kelly enjoys teaching Performing Arts at Mackintosh Academy.  She has choreographed and performed at Town Hall Arts Center for over twenty years, as well as Performance Now Theater Company, Home for the Holidays at Lone Tree Arts Center and Heritage High School.

(Assistant Director) is beyond excited to be joining the artistic team for Wesley Players. She has performed in numerous Wesley players productions including Jo March in Little Women, Marian Paroo in The Music Man, and The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Wesley Players has been a place she calls home since she was a little girl and is honored to get the opportunity to work alongside such incredible people!

A Christmas Carol The Musical

Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated “Bah! Humbug!” Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he’s forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful “Happy Christmas” before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.
